I’m Anh Tu Do. I live near Fort Worth, where I cook home-made tech products.

I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. The first program/circuit I created must be in Minecraft, a game-based learning platform. It was during my 8th grade, my first time learning coding without even knowing, as Minecraft abstracted commands and processing units into a seamless gaming experience.

Then, one day, sitting in a modern yet cozy atmosphere of UT Arlington library with my brother and his friends, suddenly, my brother turned to me. He asked if I wanted to learn web app development as he saw a strong passion in me for programming through Minecraft. I was in 10th grade and had no idea how my future would play out. But what would harm if I try. I nodded.

That was how my journey all began. I continued following the path my brother guided me, exploring different opportunities and project invitations along the way, including non-profit organizations and startups. They formed in me a flexible adaptibility and a yearn for knowledge.

Although it has been years since my journey began, it feels like everything just started yesterday. Maybe that is what a journey means to be, a forever-lasting cycle of learning and realizing there are more to learn. It is as if you are traveling in a vast sea without knowing of a destination. But you know for sure that along the way, you will see different lands, meet wonderful people, and learn their unique cultures. And that is the true beauty of everything, perhaps...
